Some of those rules are to follow government laws and regulations, while others are focused on providing an environment where everybody can be most productive and enable the company to achieve its goals in a profitable and sustainable manner. The best companies are those which treat employees as responsible citizens who understand the goals of rules rather than viewing them as boxes to check.”
