Covid Policy

The Ontario government no longer requires masking indoors in most areas, including all areas of The Kingbridge Centre. 

Our property is a Mask Friendly Environment.  We respect the personal wishes of all guests and hosts in choosing to wear or not wear a mask. We appreciate kindness and respect for all and expect everyone to follow these courtesies.

As of March 1, 2022, the Ontario government proof of COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required for all indoor dining, recreation, meetings, events and social functions. 

Cleanliness & Safety Commitment

Our priority at Kingbridge has always been to provide a tranquil, inspiring and safe environment for our guests to meet and collaborate. Although the reality of the pandemic has changed many things, it has not changed our commitment to you. We have been working hard behind the scenes to be able to continue to provide you with a safe and healthy environment to host your meetings and events.

Maintaining guest and employee health and safety is our top priority. We are proud to inform that our team went through an intense training program provided by the York Region Public Health which we have adopted and followed to enhance our cleaning and operational protocols. Every aspect of our business has been adjusted with the highest standards of cleanliness.

Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning

A previously often overlooked necessity for hotels and conference centers is their ventilation system. At Kingbridge we are proud of the advanced ventilation systems we have running throughout the building. Every space in the building has a system that is constantly working to filter all fresh and recirculated air before entering the space and exhausting out stale air all while maintaining ultimate guest comfort and reducing the risk of airborne pathogens.

The unique construction of Kingbridge includes an individual HVAC unit in all 124 hotel guestrooms, meaning that recirculated air is filtered from your suite only and not from your neighbour. Each guestroom also includes a large sliding door with mesh screen, allowing as much fresh air flow as you desire. In addition to the guestrooms, the majority of our meeting rooms also come equip with their own HVAC units thus allowing these spaces to be isolated from a ventilation perspective. Throughout your visit to Kingbridge, you will find that we have allowed for additional ventilation strategies. Bringing fresh air from our forested surroundings in through opened doors and windows, as weather permits, is not only great for air flow but also includes many health benefits. Meeting rooms are spread out throughout our large building on different levels and in various sections, giving groups the privacy and space that they need. Furthermore, the exclusivity of the Kingbridge campus gives companies and individuals alike piece of mind as the venue is accessible only to registered delegates and not to the general public.

Enhanced Cleaning Protocols

From your first point of entry to your departure, we have implemented several enhancements to our cleaning and disinfection procedures throughout the property and in our guestrooms, which include:

All high-touch points and areas of congregation are rigorously disinfected at regular intervals throughout the day and evening, including: door handles, handrails, counter tops, elevator buttons, tables, chairs, telephones, computers, keyboard and workspaces.
Additional hand sanitization outlets added throughout the property.
Each guestroom is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. While you are staying on property, should you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service please let our Front Desk team know and we will be happy to schedule service according to your preference.
